About The British Wine Butler

"With over 30 years in the Hospitality and Wine Business I have gained all the tools to enable me to start my own Consultancy. Apart from being a Sommelier for nearly 10 years I have worked as Restaurant Manager, GM and F & B manager and always had a hand in the wines being served in these establishments. I have imported wine from around the world, ran training programs and tutored tastings, worked with wine magazines, worked in distribution and retail and managed many events of various sizes and themes. I have also visited Wineries and Vineyards across the world from Napa Valley, Oregon and Canada to many countries and regions in Europe (including Great Britain that has a thriving Sparkling and now still wine scene), Australia and South Africa. Chile and Argentine are next on my agenda.

So whatever your wine needs are, you can be confident that I have the experience and knowledge to assist you in a fun and informative way."
